Patricia Clark

Trustee

Patricia Clark has lived in Citrus Heights for 16 years and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She retired in 2009 after 30 years in the construction industry, the last 16 years as an engineering assistant and bid coordinator for a prominent Citrus Heights General Contractor. She is a member of Soroptimist International of Citrus Heights, a member of the Board for Hearts for Parks and treasurer for the Iris Gardens Homeowners Association. Pat enjoys photography, working in her yard and exploring the mountain roads in a Jeep.

Tonya Wagner

Trustee

Tonya Wagner was born in Ohio and lived in New York and Texas, but settled in California in 1974. She was involved in activities for and with her three daughters until they went to college. Since then she has become a super volunteer. She helped with the incorporation of the City of Citrus Heights, was involved with the establishment of Northwest Neighborhood Association from 1999 until 2015, she was President of Residents Empowerment Association of Citrus Heights (R.E.A.C.H.) for five years and has volunteered at Citrus Heights Community Center since it opened in 2010. She has received awards for “Who’s Who in America’s Neighborhoods” from nationally recognized Neighborhoods USA, and was selected as Sacramento County Outstanding Senior of the Year. She is President of Greater Sacramento Area Gold Star Wives and works closely with Sacramento Blue Star Moms, especially in their mission to send CARE packages to deployed troops. She continues to be a member of the Citrus Heights Red/White/Blue Parade Committee since 2001 and is a Campout organizer since 2001. She considers being a Trustee for Sylvan Cemetery District an honor.

Jim Monteton

Trustee

Jim Monteton has lived in Citrus Heights since January 1997. He and his wife, now married for 48 years, moved here when he retired from AT&T after 32 years. They have three grown sons and four grandchildren. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and has an MBA in Business. Jim and his wife own A.J. Thomas Insurance Services on Auburn Blvd. He is on the Planning Commission for the City of Citrus Heights, an officer in Post 637 of the American Legion, President of C.H. Neighborhood Association 7 & 8 and a member of the Sacramento County Cemetery Advisory Commission.

Jo Freeman

Trustee

Jo Freeman and her husband Jim have been residents of Citrus Heights for over 32 years. They previously lived in Orangevale. They have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. Jo spent 35 years in the insurance business and was also office manager. Leaving the insurance world, she went to work with her son for 3 years, and was office manager and transaction coordinator in his real estate business. Now retired, she wants to give back to the community and hopes to be an asset to the Sylvan Cemetery District.

Tony Rego

Trustee

Tony Rego is a 3rd generation Hawaii Territory born and raised. He attended Cannon's School of Business from 1962-1964. He is a 1969 graduate of the University of Hawaii with his BBA in marketing. Tony served in the USAF from 1969-1973 and was stationed at Beale AFB in Marysville, CA serving in the Personnel Division, Classification and Testing and recruit evaluations. From 1973-1977 he was a sales rep for Lyon Moving and Storage. He then started in insurance with State Farm as an office manager from 1977-1980. After working for Hoyt/Petersen Insurance for 13 years, he purchased the personal lines department in 1994 and has owned and run Tony Rego Insurance for the past 27 years. They are located on Van Maren Lane in the renovated 7-Eleven. Tony is dedicated to church service and belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of the Citrus Heights Community Block Grant Target Area Sub Committee and a member of the Sylvan Cemetery District Board for 16+ years. He’s lived in Citrus Heights since 1972 and has been married to his high school sweetheart Barbara for 52 years. They’ve had 3 children together… B.C. Rego (deceased); Blair who is married to Brenda with children Lexi and Matthew; and Adam who is married to Heather with children Madison and Lauren.

Board Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month 10:00am at the District Office. The public is welcome.
